Value Education Day Celebrations

On the 12th of February  Value education day celebrations and the prize distribution ceremony were held.To celebrate the day girls presented beautiful dances and songs. There was also a beautifully enacted  mime act and a play  .This cultural extravaganza was followed by facilitating the winners from different classes in different competitions held throughout the year. The winners were presented with beautiful trophies and certificates.

Visit to Government Medical College

To make us aware about our responsibilities towards the society we live in, Class 6th  visited the Government Medical college and Hospital Sector 32 and learnt about the importance of blood donation and organ donation. Various lectures were conducted making us understand how organ donation can save someones life. Also various specimens of different organs were  show to us for a better understanding of the organs.

On 22nd January,2016 ans Essay Writing Competition was held on the topic New Initiatives On Republic Day. All the students from class 6th to the 11th participated in it. The topic itself was so interesting that girls came up with such bright ideas to make our country a better place to live in. 

Visit to Traffic Park

Visit To Traffic Park

On 12th January, 2016 we visited the Traffic park. There we were made aware of different safety rules to be followed while driving like fastening of seat belts while driving, not jumping the red signals. The main idea behind the trip was to enable us to understand the importance of following the traffic rules and make roads safe.

THE WORLD OF SCIENCE

On 14th and 15th December,2015 we organized a science exhibition celebrating the year of light with our theme as Light  . All the classes presented experiments based on light. The topic for our class was SHADOWS, and different groups in our class performed experiments on different aspects of shadows.On 14th,the exhibition was open for different schools. On 15th, the exhibition was open for parents to come and see the exhibits . Our group which presented the experiment on coloured shadows won the first prize.

Visit to Verka Milk Plant

Visit to Verka Milk Plant

A visit to Verka Milk plant was organised on the 23rd November, 2015, as a part of the health and wellness club activity. We went to Verka Plant in the Chandigarh Industrial Area and saw the working at the milk plant. We saw how the milk was processed before it reached us . Not only was the trip informative , was also healthy as we had tasty and healthy verka sweet lassi also. 

Diya making competition

DIYA MAKING 

A Diya making competition was organised for class 6th. All the students made beautiful diyas. Kanan from our class won the first prize.
